Hunt Deltel & Co. Ltd is seeking for suitable candidates for the post of: Reefer Technician
Work Location: The Quadrant Building Victoria
Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems and refrigerated containers, including fault-finding on mechanical and electrical components, handling complex repairs, monitoring reefer operations, and conducting pre-trip inspections (PTI).
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced Certificate in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning
- Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant working experience
- General knowledge of the Maritime and/or Refrigeration industry
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid driving licence (class 2)
- Excellent communication in both English/French and interpersonal skills
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure while constantly achieving objectives
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task ownership
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- High sense of responsibility, integrity and attention to details
