Work Location: Hunt, Deltel & Co. Ltd. Fleet Logistics Centre Zone 14, Ile du Port
Job Summary
The Warehouse Officer is responsible for the accurate physical handling, control, and verification of bonded warehouse stock, including receiving, storage, preparation, delivery, and inventory checks of cargo, ship spares, and stores.
The role executes warehouse tasks strictly against approved documentation to ensure customs compliance, stock accuracy, and operational efficiency.
The Warehouse Officer plays a key role in maintaining warehouse order, supporting vessel operations, conducting regular and ad-hoc stocktakes, and ensuring all stock movements are properly executed, verified, and documented.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and prepare bonded warehouse cargo in line with approved documentation
- Execute warehouse tasks only upon instruction from the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Admin
- Pick, stage, and load goods for delivery to vessels or customers
- Supervise receipt and delivery of ship spares and stores
- Conduct daily confirmation of stock movements (entries and exits)
- Perform quarterly physical inventory stocktakes and ad-hoc checks when discrepancies arise
- Assist during customs inspections, audits, and stock verifications
- Monitor reefer container temperatures and support handling of special cargo
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards
Job Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in warehouse, stores, or logistics operations
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions strictly
- Team-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid Driving License (2,4) with minimum 2 years driving experience
- Excellent communication in both English/French.
Desirable
- Experience in a bonded or customs-controlled warehouse
- Familiarity with ship spares or vessel operations
- Forklift or cargo-handling experience (where applicable)
- Good understanding of customs procedures and bonded warehouse requirements
- Experience with ASYCUDA or similar customs systems will be an advantage

Job Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Documentation & Administration Officer to manage the administrative, documentation, and compliance aspects of our warehouse operations, with a strong focus on bonded warehouse activities.
This role is critical in ensuring that all inbound and outbound warehouse documentation, customs coordination, stock records, and regulatory reporting are accurate, timely, and compliant. The successful candidate will act as the single administrative point of contact between clients, warehouse operations, customs brokers, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and process warehouse delivery orders and client instructions
- Prepare and control warehouse documentation, including delivery orders, inward/outward notes, packing lists, gate passes, and customs-related documents
- Coordinate bonded warehouse processes with customs brokers and regulatory authorities
- Lodge and manage customs documentation and reports (including ASYCUDA where applicable)
- Maintain accurate bonded stock records and prepare daily and monthly reports
- Support audits and ensure compliance with customs regulations, ISO standards, and company SOPs
- Monitor storage durations and provide billing data
- Liaise effectively with internal teams, transporters, brokers, and clients
- Identify documentation discrepancies and escalate issues as required
Job Requirements:

- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in warehouse administration, logistics documentation, or bonded warehouse operations
- Good understanding of customs procedures and bonded warehouse requirements
- Experience with ASYCUDA or similar customs systems will be an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
