In October 2025, Hunt Deltel's subsidiary The Yacht Agent Ltd proudly participated in the first-ever African Boat Conference, held in Cape Town, South Africa — a landmark gathering shaping the future of the continent's marine and superyacht industries.
The event brought together more than 200 key stakeholders, innovators, and marine professionals from across Africa and the Indian Ocean region. The atmosphere was charged with vision and collaboration as discussions centred on the creation of a Southern Africa / Indian Ocean Islands Superyacht Route — a transformative initiative aimed at attracting high-value tourism, developing refit and maintenance hubs, and enhancing professional standards across the region.
