Hunt Deltel is proud to support the ongoing development of martial arts in Seychelles through a donation of SCR 10,000 towards new training pads for the Kyokushin Karate Association.
The contribution comes at a crucial time, as the school’s 15-year-old equipment had become unusable, impacting daily training as well as the preparation of athletes for international competitions.
This donation enabled the purchase of 10 new training pads, essential tools that support safe, effective, and high-intensity Kyokushin practice — especially for students preparing for major tournaments abroad.
Under the leadership of Shihan Phillip Moustache, the Kyokushin team has had an exceptionally active and successful year — from hosting their 35th Annual Training Camp and welcoming foreign Uchi Deshi students, to securing multiple international championship titles across China, Singapore and Japan. Seychellois juniors also shone at the Lion City Championships in Singapore, bringing home top placements.
Despite achievements, the school continues to face challenges, including limited funding, training venue constraints, and the need for updated equipment. Hunt Deltel is proud to assist and remains committed to supporting initiatives that empower young athletes and promote sports development within the community.
We extend our congratulations to Shihan Phillip Moustache and his team, and we look forward to supporting their continued growth in the years ahead.
