Hunt Deltel was pleased to attend the reopening of the historic Plantation Lodge on Aride Island Special Reserve, now renamed Cadbury Lodge, following its successful reconstruction after severe storm damage.
The lodge has been renamed in recognition of the outstanding contribution of three generations of the Cadbury family, whose long-standing commitment to conservation has played a significant role in safeguarding Aride Island since its purchase in 1973.
The event included the unveiling of a commemorative plaque by Lucy Cadbury, Guest of Honour, in the presence of invited partners and stakeholders, marking an important moment in the island’s conservation journey.
Hunt Deltel was honoured to be invited to witness this meaningful occasion, which highlights the value of environmental stewardship and the preservation of Seychelles’ natural heritage.
