Hunt Deltel & Co. Ltd. is proud to have supported the Seychelles Fire and Rescue Services Agency (SFRSA) in its inaugural children’s painting competition, organised in recognition of International Fire Fighters’ Day, celebrated annually on 4 May.
The competition, themed “Fire Service in the Eyes and Mind of a Child,” invited primary school students from the central region to creatively express their understanding of fire safety and the role of firefighters within the community. The initiative aimed to raise awareness from a young age, educate children on fire prevention, and inspire interest in the firefighting profession.
The winning artworks were later featured in the SFRSA 2026 calendar, officially launched at a ceremony held at the Carrefour des Arts Gallery in Victoria and attended by distinguished guests, including representatives from government ministries and national institutions. The event also received coverage in Seychelles Nation, highlighting the positive impact of the programme on youth education and community engagement.
