Hunt Deltel was pleased to support an educational visit for students from the Advanced Certificate in Nautical Science Year 2 programme, organised in collaboration with the Seychelles Maritime Academy and the Seychelles Ports Authority.
The visit took place aboard the container vessel MASAR Neptune, providing learners with a unique opportunity to experience the maritime environment beyond the classroom.
During the visit, students were able to board the vessel, interact with members of the crew, and gain valuable insights into daily operations at sea. For many of the learners, it was their first time stepping aboard a container vessel of this scale, making the experience both exciting and educational.
Such initiatives play an important role in bridging the gap between theoretical learning and real-world maritime operations, giving students a clearer understanding of the industry and the career paths available within it.
