Hunt Deltel is proud to support the Rovers FC Youth Elite Programme for another year as the next generation of young Seychellois footballers prepares to compete in the prestigious Madewis Cup in France later this year.
Following last year’s successful campaign, Hunt Deltel. once again joins the initiative in supporting the development of talented young athletes and helping provide opportunities that extend far beyond the football field.
The impact of the programme has already proven remarkable. Since competing in the Madewis Cup in 2025, 19 players from the previous generation of the Elite Programme have gone on to secure places in France through a FIFA-funded four-year scholarship programme, where they are now living, training, and attending school while continuing their football development.
This milestone reflects the long-term vision behind the programme and highlights the importance of investing in youth development from an early stage. It also demonstrates how international exposure and opportunity can open doors for young athletes to pursue both sporting and educational excellence.
This year, the next generation of Elite Programme players, born in 2015/2016, will follow in the footsteps of their predecessors as they prepare to travel to France to compete in the Madewis Cup. Accompanied by coaches and staff, the young players will gain invaluable international experience and exposure while representing Seychelles on an international stage.
