Hunt Deltel continues its support of local sport and athlete development through its sponsorship of kitesurfing competitions organised by the Seychelles Yachting Association (SYA) as part of its 2026 racing season.
The season got underway in June at Grand Anse Praslin, bringing together some of Seychelles' leading windsurfers and kitesurfers for a competitive opening event. The competition continued with Cup B on Saturday 18th July, held at the Sail Training Scheme near St Anne Jetty on Mahé.
The event attracted a strong turnout of participants, including three female competitors. While unforeseen wind conditions prevented the women from taking part and meant that only four of the seven scheduled races could be completed, the day was nevertheless marked by positive energy and strong competition on the water.
At the conclusion of Cup B, Neddy Radegonde once again claimed first place, with Mervin Constance finishing second and Bertrand De Charmoy Lablache taking third. The races were followed by a prize-giving ceremony recognising the achievements of the participating athletes.
