Hunt, Deltel & Co. Supports First Inter-School Public Speaking Competition

Hunt Deltel & Co. was pleased to support the inaugural Inter-School Public Speaking Competition, organised in commemoration of International Biodiversity Day through a partnership between the Independent School Organising Committee, the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Energy and Natural Resources, and the Ministry of Education.

As part of its commitment to education, youth development and community engagement, Hunt Deltel & Co. contributed towards the event, helping to recognise and reward the efforts of participating students.

The competition brought together students from schools across Seychelles, providing a platform for young people to develop their public speaking abilities while exploring themes related to biodiversity, environmental stewardship and sustainability. Participants demonstrated impressive confidence, preparation and communication skills throughout the event.

Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and partners, organisers were able to expand the number of prizes awarded, ensuring that more students were recognised for their hard work and dedication. In addition to the top-performing schools, special awards were presented for Best Chairperson, Best Main Speaker and Best Proposer of the Vote of Thanks.

The event concluded with the following results:

🥇 1st Place: Independent School (representing Cuba)

🥈 2nd Place: Beau Vallon Secondary School (representing Fiji)

🥉 3rd Place: Belonie School (representing Jamaica)
